The medieval village of Labro is situated on top of a
hill close to Piediluco Lake. Its houses, perched on limestone, are full of
coats of arms that tell stories of the past.
PortaReatina leads to the pedestrian
area of the village, where peace and tranquillity can bring the traveller back in
time. Numerous gates and façadess of rich ornaments and symbols that have
little to do with the surrounding world can be seen while walking in the
narrow, cobbled streets.
A visit to the gardens of the Crispolti Palace gardens (now a hotel) is a must, as well as a
visit to the towers with views of the lake, the tower overlooking the village
and the beautiful square outside the Church of Santa Maria.
Labro is 54 km away from Locanda Frullo
and can be reached by car in 1 hour.
