In addition to the quaint medieval old town, in Leonessa you can visit:

  • the double ring of the 13th century walls, which still surrounds the old town;
  • the Church of the Madonna del Popolo, dating back to the 14th century, rebuilt in the following centuries, with decorations of baroque style;
  • the Church of St. Francis, built in the 15th century with material salvaged from the destroyed church of San Donato della Torre, located in a convent;
  • the Church of St. Joseph of Leonessa, built in the 18th century in Baroque style, in honour of town patron saint.
